Dr. Mary Bryant has a PhD in psychology and holds Florida licenses as a marriage and family therapist and as a mental health counselor. Dr. Bryant works with individuals, couples, and families and maintains a private practice in Tampa, Florida.
With over twenty years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of the University of South Florida and Capella University specializing in family therapy, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are couples counseling, stress and anxiety reduction, and the treatment of depression.
In addition, Dr. Bryant has presented at national conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from communication and conflict resolution skills to stress reduction and resiliency.
Dr. Bryant is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
Dr. Mary Bryant is a board certified therapist and is a member of several national and state professional associations . Her goals are to help each person reach his or her goals for positive change. Dr. Bryant continues to do extensive research and study in the field to best serve her clients' needs.
Dr. Bryant is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MT-2200), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH-5573), a National Board Certified Counselor (53494), a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Florida State Qualified Supervisor for marriage and family and mental health interns. She is also a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and is member of Phi Kappa Phi and Chi Sigma Iota, national honor societies within the field. She remains dedicated to being a life long learner.
